Usage

Use in soups and stews, serve cold atop a fresh salad, or mash with your choice of spices for a unique sandwich spread.

How to Cook

  1. Dark red kidney beans must be soaked prior to cooking (preferably overnight).
  2. Rinse and place in a large pot, covered with fresh water.
  3. Bring water to a boil for 3 minutes, reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 60-90 minutes, until tender. This bean produces foam when boiling, so skim the water regularly.
