Dried Hijiki sea vegetable (Hijikia fusiforme)

How to Use

  1. Soak 5-15 minutes; expands to twice its original volume.
  2. Chop and cook with grains, soups, breads, stuffings, salads, baked potatoes, curries, tofu, and vegetable dishes.
  3. Sautéing in oil facilitates the digestion of oil-soluble vitamins and reduces the fishy taste.
Soak Hijiki in water for 15-20 minutes and quickly rinse the soaked Hijiki to get rid of any dirt.
Save soaked Hijiki for use in cooking. Add soaked Hijiki in stir fry noodles or vegetables.
