How to Use:

1 cup of whole oats, soaked; 5-6 cups of water; sea salt

  1. Place all in a pot. Bring to boil.
  2. Reduce heat to very low and simmer overnight
  3. Alternatively, simmer 2-3 hours in 2 cups of water.
  4. Add rice drink (alternative to coconut milk) for a rich, yummy dessert.
  5. Alternatively, cook with dulse or raisin. For a nuttier, less bitter flavor, dry-toast unsoaked oats, then cook as above.

Stove-top Instructions:

Rinse oat groats. Place 1 part oat groat & 3 parts of water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 30 minutes. Soaking the grains before cooking will give a softer texture.
