Spleen & lungs – “Ginseng” for man
Why Not?® Codonopsis Root (Dang Shen) is used for patterns of qi deficiency. Some call this as the economical version of ginseng. They are particularly beneficial for spleen and lungs because they are involved in the production of qi.
Spleen assists in digestion, blood and fluid metabolism in our body while lungs play a key part in the production of qi and body fluids that nourish the body.
They are “neutral” in nature, so they will not affect our balance of yin & yang with frequent consumption.
