Roasted cashews with indian spices and fennel. Fennel is a sweet spice and is sometimes called sweet cumin. It is used widely in Indian cooking and in one of the spice used in masala chai.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sunria Cashew Nuts

  • 1/2 tsp Sonnentor Smokey Salt

  • 1/2 tsp Sonnentor Coriander (whole)

  • 1/2 tsp Sonnentor Fennel

  • 1 tsp Sonnentor Hot Paprika

  • 1 tbsp Emile Noel Cooking Oil

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 150°C.
  • Grind whole coriander, cumin and smokey salt until become powder.
  • Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl.
  • Spread out the cashews on a baking tray.
  • Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, turning the cashews once or twice ensuring that they are evenly roasted. The cashews will turn crunchy when they cool down.
