Lee’s Cocoa farm is the precious farm that persists in the land of Tanjung Sepat. The early agricultural land in that area mainly grow cacao tree, however due to the lower price and labour work, most farmer convert to other agriculture such as palm tree and durian tree. Lee’s cocoa about 8 acres growing 200 – 300 cacao trees, besides that, 200 PANDAN coconut trees are planted together with the cacao trees as protection and barrier from wind and hot sun. It is a meticulous process to produce the Crispy coconut chips snack, which is a memorable childhood snack to many.
The mature pandan coconut flesh is hand slices, and dehydrated for 7- 8 hours, before coated with the cocoa powder or cane sugar. Each packet is filled with fragrant chips equivalent to 1 – 2 coconut fruits! This is a irresistible healthy snacks which is rich in mineral and fibre and protein, suggest to consume directly or pair it with your favourite dessert, yogurt, ice cream or salad.

Story of Lees’s Cocoa
Lees’ s Cocoa is the very precious cocoa farm that persists in the land of Tanjung Sepat. The early agricultural land in Tanjung Sepat was mainly planting cocoa tree, however most of the farmer has converted the land to other cash crop. Lee’s Cocoa farm, about 8 acres has around 200- 300 cocoa trees. Lees Cocoa managed by the brothers – Adam Lee and Terence Lee. They welcome visitors to taste the cocoa fruits and learn the processing of the handcrafted chocolate during their farm visit.
They are ever passionate in their chocolate innovation and actively participate in Kampung Baru Selangor Festival. (New village ING Festival 雪州新村博览会). The recent is held from 7th to 9th April 2023.

Real taste from tree to bar
From trees to bar, the production is done in artisan ways using the natural processing. In order to get the chocolatey taste, the cocoa beans must undergo natural fermentation, the natural sweetness from cocoa fruits allow self-fermentation. Due to the natural fermentation process, every batch of chocolate produced in different climate has its uniqueness and slight difference in taste, which some might contain slight alcoholic taste. The production is done completely at Lees’ Cocoa from plantation to chocolate production.
